comes from the richness of its faculty: nearly 500 members, coming from all over the world, most of them coming from the academic world, often from the most prestigious universities and business schools, but many of them being active practioners, from any sphere of the economic world: government organizations or non governments and commercial organizations, representing all sectors of activity, from heavy industry to services.
Our Mission comes from the value of its faculty coming from the most prestigious backgrounds all over the world. Education is our main objective. The selection of faculty staff is hard work each year for every course. We want our students to have first-class experts that’s why we work also with stars guest professors for each specific module and course as well as resident professors that can follow the students necessity in the capital of europe

RESIDENT TEACHING STAFF
Fernando Braz de Oliveira
Captain Fernando Braz de Oliveira worked in public relations for the Portuguese Navy. He is an Event Organiser and is involved in the organisation of major events in Portugal as Managing Director.
He teaches at several National and International Universities in studies related to the area of Marketing and Communication on events and Media relationship in Crisis environment. He is also a frequent speaker at conferences of Public Diplomacy, Strategic Communications, Protocol and Media Relationship.
In October 2007 he was appointed Military Advisor for the Portuguese Ambassador to NATO, being responsible for the areas of Public diplomacy, Crisis Management and Consultation Command and Control.
Isabel Amaral
Isabel Amaral is one of the most requested Portuguese specialists in questions of Image, Communication and Protocol, being responsible for several “executive coaching” actions in Portugal, Spain and People’s Republic of China. She has been lecturer in most of the international meetings of protocol and teacher in universities in Portugal, Spain and Brazil.
She has written books related to the field as “Image and Success – guide of protocol for companies” (8 editions) and “Image and Internationalization – how to have success in the global market”.
She is President of the APEP (Portuguese Association of Studies of Protocol), Vice-president of the OICP (International Organization of Ceremonial and Protocol) and corresponding member of the Academy Argentina of Ceremonial.
Haude Lannon
Haude Lannon is the co-managing director of EU-turn, an Institutional Communications Agency. She also works as a project leader in public and media relations.
Member of the board of European Movement International, she previously worked as head of cabinet of a former European Parliament President.
Inês Blu Rodrigues
Inês Blu Rodrigues has a degree in Economics with a Master’s degree in International Policies, Image and Communication, and a Master’s degree in Protocol and Ceremonial.
Her professional career moved her to Brussels, where she took up residence and where she was the advisor to the Portuguese politician José Pacheco Pereira and to the writer Vasco Graça Moura at the European Parliament (2002-2007). Currently, she is a consultant for the European Parliament.
She is an expert in Asian Protocol, cross-cultural awareness and Intercultural dialogue. She has worked as a conference speaker and she has collaborated with several magazines. Inês has also worked as a protocol and etiquette consultant for several companies.
She is Blustamp’s CEO and the Director of the International School of Protocol and Diplomacy in Brussels.
Patricia Foito Camisão
Patricia Foito Camisão works as a political adviser to a Member of the European Parliament in the areas of constitutional affairs, civil liberties, external relations and transport policy.
She studied International Relations at the “Universidade do Minho” in Braga (Portugal) and in 1998 she earned a scholarship to follow a Master of European Political and Administrative Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges.
She is also a teacher of European Relations and International dialogue.
Eddy Van den Bussche
Eddy Van de Bussche studied in Belgium to become an officer: first in the Royal Cadet School and then in the Royal Military academy in the ’60s.
He is one of the foremost experts in Protocol in Brussels. Specialized in the Belgian protocol puzzle in the European hub, he is also the Head of Protocol of the federal public service at the Ministry of Home Affairs and responsible for all National Ceremonies.
He participates in the organization of all Belgium National festivities like the National day and many other commemorations. He has also organized national funerals as the one for King Baudouin and the Royal marriages for Prince Philip and Prince Laurent.
Luis Ritto
Ambassador Luis Ritto is a Vatican Protocol expert, Ambassador and Head of the Delegation of the European Commission to the Holy See, to the Sovereign Order of Malta and to the United Nations in Rome.
Ambassador Luis Ritto has a B.A. in Economics, a Master’s degree in International Politics by CERIS /Université de Paris XI and a Ph. D. in Strategic Management from the University of Washington (USA).
Rémi Pierot
Rémi Pierot is an administrator of the Directorate-General for Communication in the European Parliament. He has a degree in History and a Master’s degree in Political Communication from the Panthéon-Sorbonne University in Paris. He gives regular lectures about communication policy at a European level.
Francois Brunagel
François Brunagel is the Head of Protocol of the European Parliament. After spending all his life working at the European institution in the Directorate-General for Communication, he now participates in seminars and congress of protocol all over the world.
He is a Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur and a Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite.
Fernando Urquiza Peña
Fernando Urquiza has been working as a Parliamentary Assistant at the European Parliament since 2005. During this time he has gained experience in the organization of political events and campaigns. Concurrently he has been a teacher of Protocol at the Table and Etiquette at the International School of Protocol in Brussels.
He graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies with Politics from the University of Westminster in London. His life experiences in Europe, America, Africa and the Middle East during the course of his career and studies have allowed him to gain a great understanding of cross-cultural relations.
Yves Panneels
Yves Panneels (1967) studied Political and Social Sciences (Leuven, Belgium), European Law (Urbino, Italy) and he also has a M.A. in East European studies. He started his career as press officer for Sabena, the Belgian flag carrier. In May 1996, Yves became Public Relations Manager at Distrigas. Less than a year later, he was recruited as Chef de Cabinet to the Governor of Antwerp. In early 2000, Yves joined the new management team of Virgin Express as Corporate Communications’ Director. In early 2005, he founded Panneels & Partners, an independent consultancy specialized in media relations and reputation management.
Yves is member of the board of Landbouwkrediet – Crédit Agricole (since 2006). He is a guest lecturer at various high education institutions in Belgium and author of ‘Protocol Praktisch’, the protocol guide in Belgium.
Sandra Schott Gisleskog
Sandra Schott Gisleskog has a Master’s Degree in European Politics and Microfinance, and prepares a Ph.D. at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris. Her research interest is Institution Building in relation to Cultural Anthropology and Conflict Resolution. Her expertise fields are South Eastern Europe and the Middle East with focus on Kosovo and Israel-Palestine.
Eva Jeslinkova
Eva Jeslinkova has a Master of European Studies, and two DEA-Masters, one in Relations Internationales (International Economy) and another one in Construction Européenne.
She works in the protocol section of the European Commission; she has experience in the organization of high level events and ceremonies, all protocol of the president of the Commission and the organization of conferences and visits.
Nowadays her main tasks are the protocol of the President of the European Commission and giving training courses on Protocol and etiquette.
Catherine de Leeuw
Catherine de Leeuw has a MBA in International Relations Former as an AFS student in Indonesia. She is the Chief of Protocol of the United States Ambassador to the European Union.
In her job she organizes up to 200 high level representational events of the Ambassador a year, coordinating them also with Mission Wide events. She advises the Ambassador on Protocol guidelines prevailing in the EU Institutions and also on the order of precedence among EU officials and U.S. diplomats. Catherine de Leeuw organizes the accreditation procedure for the Ambassador to the Presidents of the EU Institutions, actively participates in the design of a new database system by Microsoft Corporation with specific applications for diplomatic organizations and holds a second position of Official Residence Manager.
Kevin Strubbe
Kevin Strubbe started working in high standing restaurants and brasseries. He was banquet manager, F&B manager and Operations Manager in international hotels’ chains and worked for Prince Filip for private but also for official occasions. Here he created his passion for etiquette and wrote 2 books about this topic. In Flanders, he is known as the “Etiquette specialist” and several media (tv, radio,…) contact Kevin on a regularly basis to comment or to host their programs.
Kevin opened several restaurants in Antwerp which he managed and which were successfully sold. At the moment he is consultant for projects regarding F&B and etiquette. He also has written books about this field: “Etiquette is hip” and “Etiquette in het buitenland”.
Richard Amoako
He works as a legal adviser to immigrants at the company Jurisconsult & Commerce bvba.
He came to Belgium where he enrolled at the School of Linguistics of the University of Antwerp. After finishing his language studies he enrolled as a free student at the Faculty of Law in 1992 and two years later he started his studies at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences. From 2001/2002 until 2009 he studied Law at the Antwerp University.
Nowadays he is an expert in African Protocol and Cross Cultural Communication.
Manuel Fialho
After a career as Director in several banks and companies he is a lecturer in MBA programmes as well as Damelin Business School, Birnam Business College and ESCP-EAP European School of Management – Paris. Since 2006, he is a consultant and coacher of numerous Leadership and Change programs
Anne Randerson
Anne is both American and Belgian and holds Master’s and PhD degrees in human life studies, which she obtained after six years of research in Japan. As the founder and managing director of Cross Cultural Horizons, an intercultural consulting company based in Brussels, she leads corporate intercultural awareness training seminars and assists international clients and their expatriates with cultural lifestyle integration and global mobility issues. An expatriate for nearly twenty-five years, Anne has lived in several countries and speaks six languages; her main areas of specialisation are Japan, the USA, and Europe. She teaches intercultural business communications, leadership, and creative writing courses at universities in Belgium and guest lectures in countries around the world, including Vietnam and Japan.
Pascale Larivierre
Pascale Larivierre has a Master degree in Philosophy and a post-degree in Psychotherapy. She is a specialist in stress management, “people skills” and applied Emotional Intelligence. She developped ISA&T an Interactional Skills Advice and Training program for Managers.
